Now that trending topics – the most talked about items on Twitter at a given point in time – are integrated as part of Twitter’s web experience, marketers are quickly realizing that these can be exploited to generate traffic.
Gmail Now A Major Spam Hub
spam originating from Gmail has risen from 6.8 to 27% in just the last month. The impetus for the big jump is likely to be that the Google account registration CAPTCHA has been completely defeated and almost doesn’t even stand in the way anymore.
