The Python(x,y) Project - Free scientific and engineering development software
Python(x,y) is a free scientific and engineering development software for numerical computations, data analysis and data visualization based on Python programming language, Qt graphical user interfaces (and development framework) and Eclipse integrated development environment.
The Apache Thrift Project
Thrift is a software framework for scalable cross-language services development. It combines a software stack with a code generation engine to build services that work efficiently and seamlessly between C++, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, Erlang, Perl, Haskell, C#, Cocoa, Smalltalk, and OCaml.
The web.py Project
web.py is a web framework for Python that is as simple as it is powerful. web.py is in the public domain; you can use it for whatever purpose with absolutely no restrictions.
The Tornado Project
Tornado is an open source version of the scalable, non-blocking web server and tools that power FriendFeed. The FriendFeed application is written using a web framework that looks a bit like web.py or Google's webapp, but with additional tools and optimizations to take advantage of the underlying non-blocking infrastructure.
The Two-Tier Programming Toolkit - Tool support in software design and evolution
The Two-Tier Programming Toolkit is a prototype for a software development and evolution (including re-engineering or round-trip engineering) tool which supports forward and reverse engineering of object-oriented programs.
The JET Project - The Java Econometrics Toolkit
JET aims to provide a high-quality open-source (commercially-friendly) Java-based collection of econometrics tools.
The econpy Project - Python packages for economists
EconPy intends to be a collection of Python packages for economics related research. Packages will include the fields of econometrics, agent-based simulation and utilities.
The matplotlib Project
Matplotlib is a python 2D plotting library which produces publication quality figures in a variety of hardcopy formats and interactive environments across platforms. matplotlib can be used in python scripts, the python and ipython shell (ala matlab or mathematica), web application servers, and six graphical user interface toolkits.
The mod_usertrack Project
Previous releases of Apache have included a module which generates a 'clickstream' log of user activity on a site using cookies. In Apache 1.2 and later this module has been renamed the "user tracking" module, mod_usertrack.
The mod_evasive Project
mod_evasive is an evasive maneuvers module for Apache to provide evasive action in the event of an HTTP DoS or DDoS attack or brute force attack. It is also designed to be a detection and network management tool, and can be easily configured to talk to ipchains, firewalls, routers, and etcetera. mod_evasive presently reports abuses via email and syslog facilities.
The Simpy Project - Simulation in Python
SimPy (= Simulation in Python) is an object-oriented, process-based discrete-event simulation language based on standard Python. It provides the modeler with components of a simulation model including processes, for active components like customers, messages, and vehicles, and resources, for passive components that form limited capacity congestion points like servers, checkout counters, and tunnels. It also provides monitor variables to aid in gathering statistics. Random variates are provided by the standard Python random module.
The asynchttp Project - A Python Asyncronous HTTP Client
The 'asynchttp'' module is a logical extension of the Python library 'asynchat' module which is built on the 'asyncore' and 'select' modules. Our goal is to provide the functionality of the excellent 'httplib' module without using blocking sockets.
The PySide Project - New Python bindings for the Qt
The PySide project provides LGPL-licensed Python bindings for the Qt cross-platform application and UI framework. PySide Qt bindings allow both free open source and proprietary software development and ultimately aim to support all of the platforms as Qt itself.
The GNU-Darwin Project
GNU-Darwin aims to be the most free software distribution. Our mission is two-fold: Focus on projects that leverage our unique combination of Darwin and GNU, and help users to enjoy the benefits of software freedom.
The Eeebuntu Project
Eeebuntu is a customised distribution of Ubuntu specifically developed for the EeePC range of netbooks. By incorporating the three key technologies of Ubuntu, the Array Kernel and the EeeConfigure system, users of EeePC's who want to try running Linux on their machines now have an easily installed distribution which works out of the box with no configuration needed.
The XMDF Project: eXtensible Model Data Format
XMDF (eXtensible Model Data Format) is a library providing a standard format for the geometry data storage of river cross-sections, 2D/3D structured and unstructured meshes, geometric paths through space, and associated time data. XMDF uses HDF5 for cross-platform data storage and compression.
The C++ DBC Project
This is the C++ DBC project. Its goal is to provide several database connectivity APIs (like MySQL, SqLite, ODBC and so on) for developers of C++ under a single API, that is easy to use and extensible for further APIs.
The OpenRipple Project
The OpenRipple is a distributed search engine system, to found web pages by querying several network nodes.
The DRBD Project - Distributed Replicated Block Device
DRBD® refers to block devices designed as a building block to form high availability (HA) clusters. This is done by mirroring a whole block device via an assigned network. DRBD can be understood as network based RAID1.
The Unattended Project - A Windows deployment system
This is a system for fully automating the installation of Windows 2000 Professional and Server, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. When you are finished setting up Unattended, you will be able to boot any PC from a floppy, from a CD-ROM, or directly from the network, answer a few questions, and come back an hour or two later to a fully-installed Windows workstation.
