If you need to get the content of the block from the parent template,
the {{ block.super }} variable will do the trick. This is useful
if you want to add to the contents of a parent block instead of
completely overriding it. Data inserted using {{ block.super }} will
not be automatically escaped (see the next section), since it was
already escaped, if necessary, in the parent template.

We all know the problems that arise when we try to build multi-column layouts in which the columns are of equal height. It has been well documented elsewhere, so I won't go into the details here.Add Sticky Note

Detection of SQL Injection and Cross-site Scripting Attacks

f a site is vulnerable to CSS. These attempts can be trivially detected. However, the advanced attacker may attempt to camouflage the entire string by entering its Hex equivalents. So the <script> tag would appear as %3C%73%63%72%69%70%74%3E. On the other hand, the attacker may actually use a Web Application Proxy like Achilles and reverse the browser's automatic conversion of special characters such as < to %3C and > to %3E. So the attack URL will contain the angled brackets instead of their hex equivalents as would otherwise normally occur.
The following regular expression checks for attacks that may contain HTML opening tags and closing tags <> with any text inside. It will catch attempts to use <b> or <u

DCRP Review: Nikon Coolpix 8800

he good news is that the Coolpix
8800 can record VGA (640 x 480) movies at 30 frames/second,
with sound. The bad news is that the clip length is
limited to just 60 seconds, regardless of the size
of your memory card. A high speed memory card is not
required. -
The Coolpix 8800 uses the brand spankin'
new EN-EL7 lithium-ion battery.

with noise being the FZ7's weak spot
-
You'll get full manual controls, plus many automatic modes for the beginner. The newest manual control is for focus, and it works well (though a manual focus ring would've been nice). You'll also find controls for white balance (including fine tuning), shutter speed, and aperture.
-
Sound is recorded as well.
-
As is usually the case, you cannot use the zoom lens during filming. The image stabilizer functions in movie mode, as you'd expect.
-
proprietary batteries used by the DMC-FZ7 apply here
-
The FZ7 turned in one of the best night shots that I've seen in some time. Like with the macro shot, everything's nice and sharp here. The camera took in plenty of light, thanks to the manual shutter speed control. Purple fringing levels were low, and noise was well controlled.

DCRP Review: Canon PowerShot S3 IS

-
I was disappointed that Canon includes a tiny memory card and throwaway batteries on the S3.
-
Camera performance was very good. The S3 starts up remarkably quickly for an ultra zoom, taking just 1.4 seconds. Focus speeds were very good (though Panasonic's cameras are faster), shutter lag was not a problem, and the camera can take another picture in about a second. Low light focusing was very good thanks to the S3's AF-assist lamp. Battery life is best-in-class.
-
For all of these movie modes you'll want to have a high speed memory card. If you don't have one, movie recording may stop unexpectedly.
Two great things about the S3's movie mode are its stereo sound recording and the fact that you can zoom during filming. That ultrasonic motor allows you to zoom in and out silently, just like on a camcorder. As I mentioned in the previous section, you can adjust the microphone sensitivity and sound recording quality. A wind filter helps cut out annoying wind noise in your movies. And while I shouldn't have to say this, the image stabilization system is active during filming.
One more cool feature: the S3 can take a full resolution still photo while recording a movie. The catch is that the movie recording pauses very briefly while this happens.

To make things worse, what if you want to swap out your JDBC DAO classes for ones that use a persistence framework like Hibernate. Hibernate catches my eye because
I immensely dislike writing gobs of SQL. For a Java programmer, Hibernate offers a much more natural way of persisting objects. Instead of writing JDBC code,
hibernate allows me to deal with POJO's and persist them for me. The bulk of my work lies in maintaing OR Mapping files. With hibernate, developers working outside the data access layer
will not know which classes are persisted and which are not since the POJO's do not extend or implement anything. So lets use hibernate in our application them. Unfortunately for us, our make believe application has DataSource's floating around in method signatures.
Since hibernate uses a SessionFactory object instead of a data source, mass code changes will need to be made to make the transition.
Obviously Hibernate knows about data sources under the covers but client code is not aware of that. For those of you thinking of
a "find and replace" engineering solution, I hope I never get the opportunity to work with you :) The find and replace approach is similar
to loosening a rusty bolt with a pair of pliers. It might work once, maybe twice, but over time your bolt's integrity will be compromised and in need of a replacement.
The same is true for your code. It will start to deteriorate over time. I've seen this over and over and over again!
Heck I may have even participated in this kind of macro program -
