Howto disable the iptables firewall in Linux
How to turn off firewall in unix (worked for centos)

# /etc/init.d/iptables save
# /etc/init.d/iptables stop -
# /etc/init.d/iptables start

it gives me this error:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock -
$: service mysqld start

MjSip
