this is not obvious how this works; I can't seem to find the resulting export files. Very sloppy. But might prove a small help in getting Moodle course content out of moodle.

only Moodle would offer a set of pages not only on migrating TOO moodle, but also migrating FROM moodle (though it is slightly disingenuous to offer the XML files but not have made the effort to transform these into content packages).
