How is he unelectable? He's faced the most abysmal month of his career, with a concerted media hyping of the Wright issue 24/7. He's up against a former first lady and her husband the ex president. He's up against the Republican Nominee, the Party, and the entire array of conservative political groups, who've been attacking him exclusively and ignoring Clinton.

He was a newcomer with no political machine, favors to cash in, and almost zip for name recognition.

In spite of all of this, he's won one state in a landslide, and he might possibly win the other. He's ahead in the pledged delegates, the popular vote, the number of states one, and he's been drawing in superdelegates 3-1 compared to Clinton, bringing her former 3 digit lead down to the teens. He's fundraising faster than any candidate in history.

How's any of that make him seem unelectable?

On no! Your customers want to actually *use* the internet as opposed to paying through the nose for a connection that spends 99% of its time idle.

Well bloody tough. It’s been a long time coming and it’s a bit late to start acting suprised. Buy some more infrastructure or be hnoest about what you can provide. Greedy ********s..

Actually, the population of the EU is increasing. Fast. We may not be doing an awful lot of breeding, but look at those borders go! We're the only major power on earth with an active policy of territorial expansion.

I fear (as on Obama supporter) that this tendency to rebel against “Hollywood” types is strong. But doesn’t your friend’s behavior smack a bit of middle schoolers who like a band right up until they get popular?

You'd have to think that the 'any Dem' ticket would be unbeatable after the misrule and insanity of the calamitous Bush years. (And never, ever forget that Howard and his friends literally popped the champagne to celebrate the election of the worst leader of a major Western nation since Hitler blew his brains out.)

Even the big bucks are starting to see the writing on the wall. I note that Warren Buffett has donated to a range of Dems, and just one Republican -- Ron Paul!!! How many volumes does that speak?

Sure, big oil and and armaments makers will stick with the GOP until the bitter end. But businesses whose wealth and welfare rests on real economic progress and stability and not on eternal war, mass murder and international chaos are giving up on the Republicans.

But whoever wins will be handed the mop and bucket for the biggest cleanup job in generations. And the Republicans and their media toadies will immediately be trying to saddle them with the blame for Bush's mess.
