Mumbai Indians put their off-field troubles aside and pulled off their first win. On a slow Eden Gardens pitch, though not the minefield of the previous game, Mumbai had a nervy start and were 25 for 3 before Dwayne Bravo and Robin Uthappa put on a century stand to see them home.

Such a poorly written post. No idea what the author means.

In this series against India we have witnessed something different and unusual. The visitors, with the worst disciplinary record in world cricket, have cried foul. After the Sydney Test, a comment by Kumble to the effect that only one side had been playing in the true spirit of the game, was seized on by the media.

Kumble succeeded in muddying the waters. It was no longer just poor umpiring. Somehow the poor behaviour of our cricketers contributed to the result. This was brilliantly conceived and executed.

The shortest Test, both in terms of time taken and balls bowled, was the remarkable fifth Test between Australia and South Africa on a "sticky dog" of a pitch in Melbourne in 1931-32. There were only five hours and 53 minutes of play, and just 109.2 six-ball overs all told.

Add Sticky NoteTait has never played India in a Test or a one-day international and he is keen to test them with his speed and bounce. A few of their senior players, including Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, came up against Tait in a tour match when they last visited Australia in 2003-04 and while he was not the dominant bowler in that match he has matured since then.
- Tait is known for his injury prone body. Indians have to just play basics. Out of the four, only Brett Lee is a wicket inducing bowler. Indians have to see him off during his short spells and play basics/attacking against the rest. Even Lee can go for runs but you cannot relax against him. - on 2007-12-19
