A while ago, I blogged about spiffing up your résumé. Now I am starting to think the paper résumé may soon go the way of the eight-track tape, Betamax and the manual typewriter (visual aids included for those of you who have never seen any of these things).
The YouTube video below is one component of a social media résumé, the brainchild of Christopher Penn, the chief technology officer of the Financial Aid Podcast, an information portal on student loans, scholarships and career information for college students and recent graduates. The rest of his résumé, the format of which he encourages others to copy, is housed on Googlepages, a do-it-yourself Web page creator.
