Navigate on your computer to your home folder > Library > Application Support > MacJournal, and make a copy of your "MacJournal Data" file on your Dropbox folder. Then on the computers you plan to sync, go into the MacJournal preferences > Advanced. In the drop-down where it says "Open documents," pull down to "Open other."
he one downside to this method is that you must make sure to quit MacJournal every time you're done using it from either machine. If you don't do this, your entries may not be properly synced when you switch to the other computer, though I've had some mixed luck with this. If you make sure to quit every time you walk away to switch machines, though, you should be golden.

- the release of Mac OS X v10.5, users running an outdated copy of APE (2.0.1 or earlier) began to report problems with their upgraded Leopard systems.^{[citation needed]} The problems occurred when using the "Upgrade" option rather than the "Erase and Install" or "Archive and Install" option. Symptoms included hour long "blue screens" (known as the 'Blue Screen of Death') on restart and systems hung inoperable for hours at a time. Users gradually discovered the error and were able to fix it by updating their installation of APE. - It is, and it's all made possible using DropBox and a little something called Symbolic Links. In a nutshell, a symbolic link is and does what it says; it's a link that points to the original file. Sort of like an Alias, which you've probably worked with if you're on a Mac. Here's the basic idea, in Terminal you'd type the following:
  
  ln -s ~/path/to-where-you/put-the-/dropbox-file/ ~/path/to-where-the-original-file-was
- ne piece of advice to make things simple is to duplicate the local directory structure on your Dropbox. So I created a folder "Library" and inside that folder I have "Application Support" and another "Preferences". Here's the steps in order.
  
  Make sure the program is closed.
  
  Create a set of folders in the root of your Dropbox folder. "/Dropbox/Library/Preferences/"
  
  Navigate to whatever you want to sync, in this case we'll do the transmit preferences file "com.panic.Transmit3.plist"
  
  Move that file to your Dropbox/Library/Preferences/ directory.
  
  Create a symbolic link to point to this new file
  
  ln -s ~/Dropbox/Library/Preferences/com.panic.Transmit3.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.panic.Transmit3.plist
  
  You'll want to do the same on your other machine. That's it, done!
