plurk vs. twitter

Whenever you start an original Plurk, all the replies are kept in that thread. I asked my friends when they first joined the Internet, and people are still replying as we speak. Not everyone is online simultaneously, and with the usage of these threads, Plurk lets you preserve a conversation and give everyone access to all the replies. Imagine doing this on Twitter. Try replying to someone's general question on Twitter 20 minutes later, let alone 12 hours.
