My scanner broke down so I had no other choice!

We worked together on counting beats and making sure my rhythm was correct. It was extremely good and just within 15 minutes, I had improved a lot already

Monophonic: Is just one tune.

I had problems scanning all my work so I had to resort to taking photos of the pages with my camera

I need to take care in my practise more and make sure I practise my pieces correctly

making sure I got them all in tune when jumping around on the fingerboard

We first went through the rhythm and timing for the piece, making sure we knew how to play with the soloist. I found it quite hard to know when to come in and the intonation was a bit off. Our rhythm was appalling and we worked heavily on i

I found it relatively easy

but after she explained good techniques to good and productive practice, I felt much more enlightened and determined

The only way I can do this is by more good practice. I hope that by the end of this year, or maybe even earlier, instead of having intonation as my weakness, I hope it can become one of the strengths

Mr Humberstone then went through Experimentalism and different composers such as John Cage and Howard Skempton

I worked on my intonation of every note, especially the held notes. I also practised my bowing techniques to make sure every note I played was smooth

Today in class we had a class quiz about figure bass. It lasted the whole lesson, and I scored 16/20. I was disappointed with my score as I made some silly mistakes, and I could have gotten 20/20. At least I got all my figure bass questions correct.

We looked at the Auralia and Musition programs which helped with our listening and aural skills. We also finished the Fairest Isle analysing.
