Look at AnnotationMBeanExporter to find out how it detects certains beans as MBeans, I started to look into this when i noticed that we can export hibernate's org.hibernate.jmx.StatisticsService as an mbean just by specifying this tag.
On going through org.hibernate.jmx.StatisticsService hierarchy I noticed that it didnt have any annotations (neither Commons or spring) for exporting this class as an MBean, then on having a look through AnnotationMBeanExporter, I saw the autodetect was set to through, and on following through how autodetect mode on MBeanExporter is used I noticed that it finally calls JmxUtils.isMBean(Class clazz) and this in turn detects if any of the interface has MBean as a sufffix and exports that class as an MBean, I was hoping this would be documented somewhere in spring documentation.
