  been explored is the notion that a relationship might exist between
  conceptual/declarative knowledge, in which SLA is conventionally seen as
  playing a role, and the beliefs, principles and values of teachers and
  student teacher.

    subject areas and the `theory' of education; procedural knowledge
    is knowledge how to teach -- knowledge of instructional routines to be
    used in the classroom.
