        Digital Native (read the book) - brains operate differently based on tech
        Analytical - "bring in your fav spreadsheet with pivot table" creative side of marketing is complimented by data
        Reach - find people who have active blogs who will talk about what they are doing in your biz. Emails not going anywhere soon, might be over time, but not now. FB Fans, Twitter #, LinkedIn
        Content Creator - ppl who create content. Don't have to be a great writer to write great content.

        PR firm is an extension to modern org chart that is outsources.

        CEO Role - first need to know you understand and open to it. either do it, or delegate it. Transparency and Authenticity.

        customer have a much higher standard of transparency. important to be trans and flat.

        Let all your employees tweet - not worry about quality and control

        doesn't cost a lot to be a big company on the internet.

        building a mote - content can be your barrier to entry. once you're ahead on the internet, you tend to stay ahead on the internet.
