I do this already, although on rare occasions when I'm practicing with a new hair toy I might wear the same style 2 days in a row if I'm focused on working out any problems encountered with one style using the new toy.





Generally speaking, it's the method of insertion of the hair toy into an updo that can vary, but the problems can also be placement of the bun and also tightness of the bun.





If I continue with the same style and new hair toy 2 days in a row, I don't forget what I learned the day before and my practice with the new toy is more efficient. I usually have success with this method; however, if I haven't worked out the issues within 2 days, I wait a week before trying the same style with the new toy again. Although, I might try another style with the same hair toy the next day.





Once I get the issues worked out with securing a style with a new hair toy, I take a photo of the back of my head so that I can remember which hair toy worked with a certain style. My bad memory is the main reason I started a photo album. The photos prevent me from having to re-learn the same things over and over again. I can't get dressed in the morning without reviewing my photo album. The photos also help me to see things I cannot see in the mirror, such as design and balance.
