I am interested in I am the consummate geek in that I am generally interested in anything scientific or technical. My research is in Mathematics,Statistics,Computer Science,Artificial Intelligence,Physics,Social Network Analysis,Bioinformatics,Mindmaps,and Knowledge Representation so those areas are at the top of my interest list,but it branches out from there.... My favorite music are Classic Rock (Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath,Boston. etc.),Jazz (Duke Ellington,Dizzy Gillespy,Gerry Mulligan,etc.),Classical (Beethoven,Mozart,Boccherini,Wagner. Movies: Casablanca,A Beautiful Mind,Gladiator,300. TV: MASH,One Foot in the Grave,Chef,CSI. Books: One Hundred Years of Solitude,Les Miserables,Anathem. My Heros are Albert Einstein,Leonhard Euler,Isaac Newton,other geeky choices along those lines,no sports stars,political characters,or military heroes.
