Rock: melodic tones with poetic lyrics...Dylan,Nirvana,Dave Matthews,Neil Young. Movies: Big on late 1930s-1955 or so. Early color films and especially dramas. I like Film Noir.. TV: HBO mini-series type stuff. Also the classic 30 minute comedies.. Books: Non fiction stuff about learning,organizations and social evolution. Big on the gloom and doom ecologists like Jared Diamond. Follow actor-network-theory a good bit. Lots of ethnography interest.. My Heros are The sorts of Nordic types who save thousands of lives while doing humanitarian work at the UN. Often nameless people who teach and learn and tolerate. People who give of themselves..
