Department of Health and Human Services Tasmania - Quick Build Affordable Home Ownership Program on 2009-10-27
- Under HomeShare, the Tasmanian Government will share up to 25% of the cost of a home. The Director of Housing retains ownership of the Tasmanian Government share for up to 15 years, allowing the home owners to benefit from a lower initial purchase price and lower loan repayments.
  
  HomeShare buyers will also receive a $500 contribution from the Tasmanian Government towards legal costs associated with the purchase of their home.
