- first box of ball ammo failed to feed about 50% of the time. Then I took it apart and found out why. The thing was clean on the outside but very dirty inside. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Even had the tell-tale lint showing it had been concealed carried--a lot!.
- I've now put well over 1000 rounds through this gun with not the slightest hint of a malfunction. So, maybe it's a limp wrist issue as some have suggested but I suspect it's a care and cleaning issue. I clean my guns and am getting great service from this PT140Pro. It is my daily carry gun and I'm not the slightest bit tempted to look for another. It is small, easy to conceal, fits my hand like it's made to be there and packs a punch.

- - there are more than one version
  - newer version has a serial numbered barrel (visible through the ejection port when the slide is closed) and the DAO (older version) does not.
  - Make sure you buy 140 "PRO" magazines, tho. Straight PT140 mags will not work.

- but my shooting well over 2k rounds in my 1 gun has proven the issue was a result of limp wrist.. or bad ammo.. This gun is WAY easier to hide than the glock, the handle is smaller for better control and holds the same # of rounds "10". Tatical shooting i think the gun is harder for "speed loading" with your mags, but i love the gun just the same...

- - it felt right. Bought one, an extra clip since it came with two, a holster and a box of ammo. Took it home and put maybe 50 rounds through it. I went to the range and on that day for some reason I had problems qualifying with my duty weapon. Weather, mental or what ever I had problems but I qualified. Picked up My Taurus to qualify with it and said to myself, I've only put 50 rounds through this gun, shorter barrel than my duty weapon and one box of ammo. I may be in trouble. I qualified the first time with no problems. I shoot better with this gun than any semi-auto I have ever owned. "I LOVE THIS GUN"
  - I am satisfied with the PT 140 Pro overall. It is in my opinion the perfect size for a CCW. The safety features on this pistol are great, it has a safety lever which aids in preventing accidental discharges, and also a key-lock system that renders the weapon unserviceable for storage. An additional safety feature is a visual "red" lever-like protruding indicator that warns you that the weapon has a round in the chamber. It is easy to take apart and clean and not heavy to tote around on your person.

- - Kodak's add on lenses. I have both the telephoto and wide angle and must say they really extend the optical range of the P712. The telephoto turns the camera into a 635mm lens, the wide angle down to about 20mm. The Flash that Kodak markets with this unit is also pro level with enough "oompf" to light a auditorium.
  - Forget about using the zoom while making a video, it sounds like a truck is driving by.
