I use Diigo because...

Diigo is the best online bookmarking tool to me. I have tried many such tools but none comes close to Diigo. Besides, many of them seem to have stalled as far as their development is concerned but Diigo keeps getting better and better. Last but not least, Diigo has become much more than an online bookmarking tool with all its social and information research features.

Web application or webapp is an application that is accessed via web over a network such as the Internet or an intranet. Web-based applications provide the power of desktop and server applications with the flexibility and accessibility of the Web. Using Web browsers, users can securely access applications from anywhere within the reach of the company intranet or extranet. Benefits of Web-based applications: - existing applications can work as both a desktop and Web solution - employees have data access from anywhere - applications can be maintained remotely, reducing overhead costs for system upkeep - a Web-based application can host parts of an application in different locations; multiple machines can host multiple instances of the application to prevent server overload - application security can be centrally managed.
