    I keep coming back to the basic question that underpins all improvement in schools: "How do you know?"
    
    Implied is that we will be constantly monitoring and evaluating progress by the pupils. This does happen, but are we expected to keep a reccord? Is this is an area where some form of e-portfolio/self-evaluation by the pupils would be of benefit?
