”He walks differently,” said PU head coach Sydney Johnson whose team lost, 55-53, to Central Michigan in last year’s opener at Jadwin Gym. “He talks differently. Hopefully he’ll continue to play better. It’s an amazing transformation that these guys go through. It’s something neat about athletics that they can have a venue like this where they gain confidence about themselves and at times it transforms their personality for the better.
