Jellyfish May Affect Climate by Stirring Oceans: Discovery News on 2009-07-30
-
"To be able to say that these small creatures and the biosphere can participate in climate in a physical way, that's interesting," William Dewar of Florida State University in Tallahassee. "That's a novel twist on the system."

FOX Sports on MSN - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - Texas Tech wins one for the ages on 2008-11-02
-
Yes, Texas Tech will surge to the top three in the national rankings with this win. In 2008, the Red Raiders could very well achieve greater things before it's all said and done. But while one year could bring a haul of hardware to this long-suffering program, tonight's win will last forever.

Palin draws Democrats with rallying cry - CNN.com on 2008-10-28

"We're here to show our support for John McCain and Sarah Palin," Easterling tells me. "We like their strategy on the economy and everything they say. He's an honest man, he doesn't lie and she's the same."
Most of all though, Easterling doesn't like Barack Obama. "I'm scared to death of him," she admits. "I'm scared of what he stands for, the whole nine yards. He hangs with the terrorists and he lies. He never tells the truth and he's a flip-flopper. He's not to be trusted."

After eight years of the worst president in American history, what is so frightening about optimism, progression, and hope?

And yet, "real" America doesn't see that. All they see is a black Muslim terrorist...

"A place that I've come to love, which I did not expect until this campaign, is Texas," he said in an interview the other day aboard his campaign plane, a patchwork of the countryside passing below him. "I ended up loving Texas! I've been struck by how many beautiful places there are in the country that you don't necessarily think of as beautiful.
