I am an instructional developer for a large community college and work primarily with faculty who use the Internet either to teach online or to supplement their F2F classes.Very interesting and rewarding work!

I am interested in I am a novice watercolor artist and find that I see the world different now that I draw and paint. Now when I look at skies,trees,a skyline,I see so much detail. While I use the Internet constantly and rather enjoy a lot of technology,I also "fight" it,too. I like reading the old fashioned way (holding a paper book) and resist keeping my cell phone and iTouch with me all the time.. My favorite music are All kinds of classical,especially Beethoven (such passion!) Also Muse,Deathcab For Cutie,Coldplay,Nora Jones,Tracy Chapman,Robert Cray,almost any kind of blues and some kinds of jazz.. Movies: About a Boy (Hugh Grant at his best),all kinds of mysteries,thrillers,and dramas (too many to name). TV: I am addicted to Netflix and my favorite "TV" shows are actually DVDs of British TV series: Touch of Frost,Blue Murder,The Last Detective,All Creatures Great and Small,...and on and on. I also loved Rome and the Sopranos,which are HBO series. I guess except for the Food Channel and some political shows on MSNBC,I get most of my TV from Netflix. Sorry,but I hate commercials!. Books: I used to be addicted to Medieval mystery series,but I think I've rather burned out. I'm searching for a new author or genre to capture my concentrated interest... I really miss disappearing into a book.. My Heros are my mom and dad--amazing people.
