These tabs have beautiful styling. Notice the use of different colors and a drop shadow for separation purposes.

This button set uses dark colors to fade out the tabs not in use, and a great border on the buttons.

Be mindful of anonymous closures.
In other words use a for (... in ...) instead of using a Collection.each { ... } statement where ever you can. The difference is that a for loop works with a block of code surrounded with looping logic at the bytecode level and the each method creates a new anonymous object -- the closure -- which engendered the object creation and garbage collection overhead. If you are exploiting the portability of closures, say you are passing a closure to another method and then using it in the loop, then this is what closures are for and by all means use the Collection.each syntax. But if the closure is an anonymous object that will never get re-used and require garbage collecting later, it might be better to avoid it.
