Campaigning: Online activities must be linked with offline activities – Nina pro change on 2009-10-10

There is a need to put the term “Climate debt” on the political agenda. Therefore we are a group of people working on a campaign and offcourse we would love to make the most effective campaign to get our important message through (and we are learning!).
Inspired by the 101 tools to online campaigning by Colin Delany I came to wonder if the most effective campaign is the one which links offline activities with online in the best way?
An online campaign should, as Delany states, never stand alone but be an integral part of broader campaign effort also involving offline activities. Substance should always be the core of a campaign and you should always think about the ends before you think about the means. But in our modern times can a campaign suceed without (few) online activities? My last blogpost was a short video from an inspiring campaign. Today the link of the day is: http://www.epolitics.com/download-online-politics-101/
