This website shows what the wold would look like if there were 100 people, statistically.

This is a good way to introduce students in a social studies classroom to inequalities that exist in the world. Also, it makes statistics and implications of numbers easier to understand.

This website connects teachers with donors, so that teachers can get funding to improve their classroom. It relies on information from both parties.

I would definitely use this site in my classroom if I was looking for funding.

This is great for social studies teachers who want the opportunity to do more in their classrooms.

This website relies on sources gleaned from the BBC. I would use this website to engage children in learning, or at least open the door to a unit in a fun way (possibly a fun homework assignment.) This site is valuable to history teachers because it makes learning fun.

This website relies on a bunch of sources - from lesson plans to primary sources to help you form a unit.

You might consult this site when planning your lessons or curricular unit.

This is valuable to social studies teachers because it can act as a means to quickly familiarize teachers with information they may not have encountered recently.

This website has a few free, full length history documentaries.

If a teacher has access to a way to hook a computer to a screen (via smart board or another means) this could be an easy way to provide a visual. Not all the documentary need be used.

This is valuable because its an accessible, free way to provide some sort of visualization to help students relate to information.

This website relies on songs that the website creator has made a connection with history subject matter.

You could use this site to include music in the curriculum, and appeal to multiple intelligences. The music can be supplemental, or in some cases, be interpreted (or even help as a mnomic device)

This site is valuable because it diversifies the lesson - however, some of the links are a little bit of a stretch, so discretion should be used.

This site relies on direct footage of speeches, compiled by the history channel - all together, a very reputable source.

You could use this site as a more entertaining way of looking at speeches, great to include in lessons.
