I am interested in I am interested in the concept of social bookmarking as it applies to collaborative projects,especially academic research. A tool like Diigo allows people in different geographic areas to find and report on (via annotations) a wide range of Internet-based materials. Off-line documents can also be placed on-line in password protected areas so only members of the group can reach them,but anyone in the group can annotate the information via this facility..
