I am the district science facilitator for the Kirkwood School District outside of St. Louis, MO, USA. I have been teaching for over 25 years- first as an instrumental music teacher, and now as a science teacher. i am originally from Michigan and went to the University of Michigan.
I am interested in education,science,gardening,astronomy,geology,music. My favorite music are classic 60's and 70's rock n roll,classical especially Wagner and Mahler,some R&B,some blues.. Movies: Red River,Jaws,Pirates 1,Humphrey Bogart movies,Bye Bye Birdie. TV: Reruns of St. Elsewhere,LA Law,Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound cartoons,NCIS,Leverage,Life on Mars,The Unusuals. Books: Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child books,James Rollins books,John McPhee,Annie Dillard,historical novels,science books. My Heros are Vera Rubin,Galileo,Leo Szilard,my Mom and Dad.
