Mary Cartier's Profile

I am a teacher with a very bad case of wanderlust who is starving to speak Spanish with native speakers to build stronger community relations and to improve my Spanish. I love teaching ESL because it has the power to bridge supposed cultural gaps, and create better cultural awareness.

I am interested in Spanish, living abroad, cultures, change, activism not apathy, youth,ESL,music, tennis, yoga, broadway musicals, the environment, how languages change, how language shapes culture, and how proximity to other languages affects languages ( ie. Spanglish, etc). My favorite music are I don't know where to even start.... TV: Friends. Books: See for more...
