Session Lost After Header Redirect - SOLVED! [Archive] - CodingForums.com on 2009-11-21

the session does not persist using a header redirect.
Yes, I use session_start() at the top of the page. It's the very first thing on every page on the server. I've even used session_write_close() after setting the session and before the header redirect (as I had read that would save the session throughout the redirect), but that did not work. I even tried (although it's less secure) doing: header("Location: http://subdomain.domain.com?".SID);, and that did not work either.
