E-learning 2.0

E-learning as we know it has been around for ten years or so. During that
time, it has emerged from being a radical idea—the effectiveness of which was
yet to be proven—to something that is widely regarded as mainstream. It's the
core to numerous business plans and a service offered by most colleges and
universities.

Web 2.0 tools are becoming very popular among educators who want to integrate
technology in the classroom. These tools are readily available to anyone with an
Internet connection and are often one of the easiest ways to engage students and
encourage collaboration in the classroom. This list of free web 2.0 tools is by
no means complete, but it does provide a wide range of tools that would be
useful to educators:
