I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, though mad scientist is a perennial favorite. I love to debate things, and often play devil's advocate just for the hell of it. I am a pseudo-geek: real geeks laugh at my geeklessness. Non-geeks call me geeky. It's a hard, hard life.
I use Diigo because It makes delicious look pitiful. Yeah, that's right delicious--I pity you.
Seriously--all you have to do is take one look at the features and you'll see why I use it. Highlighting, clipping, and commenting on any part of any web page? Awesome!

Normal x Heterozygous albino
a+a+ x a+a

In this cross there is a mixture of offspring. 50% of the hatchlings are normal or wild type, a+a+. 50% of the hatchlings are heterozygous albinos, a+a. Since there are no visual differences between the hatchlings that are heterozygous albinos and the normals the entire clutch is labeled 50% possible heterozygous albinos.

Allele – one of two or more alternative forms a gene may take. A homozygous wild type allele, together with wild type alleles at all other loci, produces a normal individual. A changed, or mutant, allele at one locus can block or divert a biochemical pathway to produce a phenotype that is different from the normal.
-
Locus (plural = loci) – the location on a chromosome where a specific gene resides. Think of it as a street address.

Please
note that Tag Descriptions are always public. -
How can I view only the bookmarks of a certain file type (MP3, PDF, etc.)?
For certain kinds of bookmarked URLs, Delicious automatically creates
special tags to make them easier to find. To see these bookmarks, simply
enter the applicable tag into the tag bar. Here's a list of them.Audio items are automatically tagged system:media:audio. Audio items with a
".mp3" or ".wav" extension will automatically be tagged system:filetype:mp3
and system:filetype:wav respectively.Video items are automatically tagged system:media:video. These include
system:filetype:mpg, system:filetype:mpeg, system:filetype:avi,
system:filetype:wmv, and system:filetype:mov.Images are automatically tagged system:media:image. These include
system:filetype:jpg, system:filetype:jpeg, system:filetype:gif, and
system:filetype:png.Documents are automatically tagged system:media:document. These include
system:filetype:pdf and system:filetype:doc.Multimedia filetype RSS Feeds
Audio and video tags also automatically generate an RSS-with-enclosures
feed. So if you're looking at a page of bookmarks tagged with
system:filetype:mp3, the RSS feed for this page will include code that
podcast readers can subscribe to just like any other podcast. - 5 more annotations...
