n fact, there is a large body of highly-respected academic experts who fiercely contest this thesis: people such as Richard Lindzen, Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a disillusioned former IPCC member, and Dr Tom Segalstad, head of geology at Oslo University, who has stated that ‘most leading geologists throughout the world know that the IPCC’s view of Earth processes are implausible if not impossible’.

Global warming fraud uncovered

Global warming appears to have stopped, about ten years ago. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents. They are in a panic to find statistical data to substantiate their loony AGW theories; and they are apparently not loathe to making stuff up.

Jeder vernünftige Mensch ist für die Verringerung des Verbrauchs fossiler Brennstoffe, dafür gibt es allerdings zahlreiche plausiblere Gründe als den angeblich anthropogene Klimawandel. Die Hysterie die gemeinsam von Politik und möglichen Profiteuren geschürt wird, weckt den Verdacht dass es sich hier um das Vorspiel für einen koordinierten Griff von Staaten und Energiekonzernen in die Taschen des Bürgers von nie gekanntem Ausmaß handelt.

Sie macht sich die definitorische Unschärfe des „Klimawandels“ so lustvoll zunutze, dass seine Karriere im politischen Diskurs sogar die der „sozialen Gerechtigkeit“ überflügelt. Die Medienkanzlerin Merkel weiß sehr genau, dass die Zustimmung zu ihrer Politik mehr denn je von der Wahrnehmung abhängt, sie erziele einen klugen Ausgleich von nationalen und globalen Interessen. Sie hat Deutschland so erfolgreich die „Vorreiterrolle“ beim „Klimawandel“ verschafft, dass diese Vorreiterrolle in der breiten Öffentlichkeit überhaupt nicht mehr infrage gestellt wird. Auf diese Weise ist der „Klimawandel“ zu einem Sehnsuchtsort der Nation geworden; zu einem Spiegel des „guten Deutschland“, in den man mit narzisstischer Genugtuung blickt – dank Merkel.

The problem is, again, you’re using the past to predict a future outcome (and one factor which is many factors simply wasn’t even there at the time from which you are projecting…)

Disasters are nothing new to humankind. We’ve survived so many of them it can really be said to be background noise in te fabric of our beings. Not that colder temperatures, coming fast or slow, are even a disaster, especially given how greatly things have changed since way back in all the other plunges. They’re cold temperatures.

We know that temperature goes through other peaks and troughs-for examples the 1530’s and 40’s are known to have been very warm, as were the 1420’s and 30’s, the 1300’s generally were very cold and a peak of warmth was reached in the Medieval warm period from around 850 to 1250AD (although there were cold spells within that.)

To the surprise of no one we have got warmer since the end of the LIA, but we are able to see the modern era in a much better context as just part of a constant variation.

Natural variability has enabled our present civilisation to enjoy what appears to be a period of ‘comfortable normality’ with our age comfortably placed as instrumental temperatures meander gently somewhere between the LIA and the MWP values-despite liberal enhancement of UHI in some cases. Our equitable situation doesn’t require legislation or expensive remedies. Enjoy it while you can- until nature throws the next extreme at us
