Samsung Opens K-12 Classroom Grants : April 2009 : THE Journal
Called "Focus on Learning," the grant program is offering 50 high-end document cameras--the Samsung 850DX--to K-12 teachers based on need. The 850DX, which normally sells for about $900, offers XGA resolution, a 14x optical zoom and 3x digital zoom, 20 FPS motion, and USB connectivity.

The students who do want to thrive will find a way to grin and bear it. Also, I find it funny when people complain about the instructor's "inability" to teach, because learning is not something that can be spoonfed to you by a sole person standing in the front of the classroom. It takes some dedication and interest on the student's part to learn something. God forbid these people would ever have to crack open a book, but that might be a good starting point for retaining some of the material that's taught in class.
