• We’re accustomed to strange political phenomena rising out of Minnesota.

   

  
• We can accept the occasional Jesse Ventura or Al Franken winning statewide office, because the state’s voters obviously like to be different.
• But we doubt even the most offbeat citizens of that state would approve of the new K-12 teacher education program that’s been proposed for the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus.
• While the rest of the nation is trying to force teachers to help our children reach their potential, the university’s College of Education and Human Development wants to make sure future teachers are more anti-American, so they can share that philosophy with their future students.
• We couldn’t even begin to make something like this up.
• According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, College of Education officials recently established the “Race, Culture, Class and Gender Task Group.”
• It’s charged with helping to devise a new system for training prospective K-12 teachers, because current teachers lack “cultural competence,” a factor officials believe contributes to the poor performance of minority students.
• The task force has issued its final report, which the group Foundation for Individual Rights in Education brought to light, and officials from the College of Education are expected to review its recommendations in January.
• What’s the task force’s main recommendation?
• That new teachers be immersed in a liberal political agenda that’s highly critical of American social norms, particularly the notion that all people can positively influence their own destiny through hard work and determination.
• The task force “recommended that aspiring teachers must repudiate the notion of the ‘American Dream’ and instead “must embrace  – and be prepared to teach our state’s kids – the task force’s own vision of America as an oppressive hellhole: racist, sexist and homophobic,” according to writer Katherine Kersten of the Star Tribune.
• “The report advocates making race, class and gender politics the ‘overarching framework’ for all teaching courses at the university,” Kersten wrote.
• “It calls for evaluating future teachers in both coursework and practice teaching, based on their willingness to fall into intellectual lockstep.”
• The task force recommends that prospective teachers begin by confessing their own bigotry.
• They would have to prepare a report “describing their own prejudices and stereotypes, questioning their ‘cultural motives’ for wishing to become teachers,
• and take a ‘cultural intelligence’ assessment designed to ferret out their latent racism, classism and other ‘isms,’” according to the newspaper.
• More than anything, “future teachers must. . . recognize and denounce the fundamental injustices at the heart of American society,” the article said.
• What about those prospective teachers who refuse to fall into “intellectual lockstep?” After all, there’s bound to be a stubborn conservative or two who think America’s a pretty decent place to live, work and raise a family.
• For them, the university “must develop clear steps and procedures. . . including a remediation plan,” the report said.

• We wonder if the university’s “remediation” program will prescribe years of hard labor, so the unenlightened will have plenty of time to ponder their foolishness.
• Silly us. The whole time we thought the problem was that our kids were falling behind in key subjects like science and math.
• We never understood that the key to quality education is to teach all youngsters to hate their country, and teach minority kids that society’s cards are impossibly stacked against them, so they might as well go sell crack.
• And silly us, we were  under the impression that free thought was still allowed in this country, even in the intellectual gulags otherwise known as university campuses.
• But back to reality. We think the proposed program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is an unbelievable pile of dung,
• a complete waste of tax dollars, and an insult to university students and the K-12 students they will be teaching.
• God help us if this is the prevailing attitude in schools of education across the land.
• Now that the good citizens of Minnesota are aware of this nonsense happening right under their noses, we trust they will kill it out before it’s put into practice.

  Part of us wants to laugh at their self-imposed dilemnas. They asked for Ventura and Franken, not to mention the late Paul Wellstone. Goofballs all...
  
  But this speaks to a more dangerous curve that threatens the Constitutional Republic for which so many sacrificed.
  To allow a statist/communist cabal to seize, without a shot, the very essence of our country is a terrifying thought.
  
  It should awaken those who have been silent...
• Take the children AWAY from these people.
  
  It seems every day I read this crap and wonder if I'll ever want to have a child in the USA. For what? To be a volunteer for those truly despicable liberal bottom feeders.
  
  What does it say about an ideology when they have to hide the objectives and its purpose from adults? What does it say about an ideology when they have to prey on the youngest and most vulnerable to thrive?
  
  Get your kids away from them. So at least we can feel safe about having a child in America.

• Wake up America, there is an active attack going on - not just Minnesota but our entire country starting from the White House down to overthrow our government, industry, education ALL OF IT! We are under ATTACK.
  The only answer is to drop down on our knees and appeal to GOD, and elect a real president like Lieutenant Colonel Alan West.
• The University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus needs to publicly announce who the idiots are that are proposing this lunacy... The cretins that concocted this "curriculum" need to be investigated and castigated.
• The number of fronts for revolution is growing every day. Unbelievable!
• I truly don't mind that these people want to teach this stuff. Fine by me. If they want to renounce the values of hardwork and delayed gratification and thrift and assimilation and liberty and freedom for all that have made America the great nation it is...I say let them.
  
  What I mind is that they want to teach this useless crap and then they demand that we provide them with all the benefits that their worldview can't produce for them. But it's the leaders of this movement who are the worst. Do you think they let their kids work in dead-end jobs with no skills. Do you think they let their kids fail at math or english? Nope, they hire tutors. Do you think they let their kids fail at the SAT, nope...more tutors. But the folks who are in these failing schools, not learning basic skills (never mind not learning advanced skills) don't have the money for all those tutors and it's their kids who will suffer for it.
  
  These fruitcake policies seem designed to ensure there's a permanent underclass of under-educated, easily-victimized, entitlement-minded, Dem-voting stooges.
• Don't count on it! MN has the likes of Jesse Ventura, Rep. Keith "I want to swear allegiance to the US by swearing allegiance to the Koran" Ellison, Sen. Amy "Epitome of the Left" Klobuchar, and Sen. Al "Obnoxious, Big-mouth, Liar, Blare America, Self-Important, I-Know-Better-Than-All-Of-You" Franken in office.
  
  The TC Metro liberals control the machine and the out state farmers (DFL - Democrat Farmer Labor party) have imbibed the kool-aid. They'd vote liberal if they were being led to the concentration camp by a Democrat. It's all about "me-me-me!" Gimme my welfare, gimme my non-profit grants, gimme my stadium, gimme my milk check, gimme my political power in return for the goodies.
  
  The U of MN and subsidiaries suck at the public teat to the tune of HUNDREDS of $MILLIONS and the liberals in the MN legislature squeal with delight! Until the conservatives gain control of the reigns of the MN institutions, this type of imbecilic thinking will continue.
  
  Thank God for the few good men and women who fight hard for the MN citizens - Michelle Bachman, John Kline, Tim Pawlenty, etc.

• Radical Fundraiser Becomes Illinois Police Chaplain

• Previously on the IPT blog we stressed the need for the Defense Department's Islamic Chaplaincy program to adopt a stricter vetting process, citing historically radical imams who have served in the program.
• The Mosque Foundation website reports that Sheikh Kifah Mustapha recently completed a four day training session in Springfield, Illinois to become the first certified Muslim chaplain for the Illinois State Police.
• Now the same can be said for the chaplaincy program for the Illinois State Police.
• Mustapha's name appears on a list of unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) Hamas financing trail, which ended with sweeping convictions in November of 2008.
• On this list he is identified as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee.
• According to the indictment in the HLF trial, the "Muslim Brotherhood is an international Islamic fundamentalist organization" that is "committed to the globalization of Islam through social engineering and violent jihad."
• It created the Palestine Committee with a "designed purpose to support HAMAS" politically and financially.
• A 1991 internal memo to Palestine Committee members reveals that members of the committee intended to further the Muslim Brotherhood's goals "on the American front."
• Mustapha appeared on the list due to his positions with HLF and Hamas' U.S. propaganda arm, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP).
• The IAP also wasa component in the Palestine Committee's Hamas-support network.
• In a deposition for the civil litigation Boim v. Quranic Literacy Institute Kifah Mustapha explained that he was a "registered agent for HLF in Illinois" from the mid 1990s until 2001 when HLF's assets were frozen. During this time Mustapha raised money for HLF.
• During the deposition Mustapha also described himself as a former member of a volunteer committee for the IAP beginning in the early 1990s.
• As a volunteer, he "distributed flyers" and helped prepare for "festivals or conventions."
• Those meetings often featured incendiary rhetoric and skits portraying Hamas violence against Israelis.
• Additionally Mustapha said that he donated money to HLF and "maybe" IAP.
• In addition to his work with the HLF and IAP, Mustapha has helped raise money for other U.S. Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
• Mustapha has raised money for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) which is under fire for its origins in the IAP and is also listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF trial.
• As recently as March of 2009, at a Dearborn, Michigan CAIR event, Mustapha helped raise $130,000 for CAIR.
• He has also raised money for the Muslim American Society (MAS) during a 2005 Chicago event.
• He also helped raise over $150,000 at a 2007 CAIR Chicago fundraiser.
• It's not clear whether the Illinois State Police knew about these connections and didn't care, or whether it failed to adequately research Mustapha's background.
• Either raises serious concerns about who will counsel the state's Muslim troopers.

• However, and I truly believe this, the current residents of the US have simply been sold down the river.
• The big money players here and abroad need the cheap labor that is flowing like a tsnumai into the US from basically everywhere.
• I think that I, a middle aged white US born citizen, became irrelevant at some point and am now probably a "speed bump" to progress of the New World Order.
• Thanks to all of the corporations that have yielded to the lure of higher profits for the stockholders at the sacrifice of a lot of the US population that helped to get them where they are. Natural progression I suppose.

• The other day I read an article that asked the rhetorical question: Are military muslim clerics radicalized? I couldn't help but, cynically, LOL at the out right naievte of the question.
• As though no credible evidence exists to suggest such a thing.
• This story evokes the same paradoxical question as to why we make such a big deal out of 'homeland security' while disregarding border security and MILLIONS of illegal aliens, not just mexicans, and the potential threat they pose. ITS STUPID.
• Now, I understand the PC reasoning behind such acts of arrogant ignorance, and lord knows we all want to feel good about our motives, but from the practical and in reality the more secure perspective, (you know, the one that is the cause of us going through metal detectors, body searches, explosives screeing and other inconveinent delays as we enter many state and federal buildings or any airport "sterile" area), don't you think we should be a bit less philosophical and a bit more 'secure' in our actions?

• Subversives who think government is corrupt and should be controlled by the people face 10 years in prison and a $25,000 dollar fine if they fail to register with authorities in South Carolina, in another chilling example of how free speech and dissent is being criminalized in America.
• The state’s “Subversive Activities Registration Act” is now officially on the books and mandates that “Every member of a subversive organization, or an organization subject to foreign control, every foreign agent and every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States … shall register with the Secretary of State.”
• Of course, the right to overthrow a government that has become corrupt, abusive and completely unrepresentative of its electorate is enshrined in the Declaration of Independence –
• that’s how America came to be a Republic in the first place – advocating or teaching that the people should “control” the government via their elected representatives is a basic function of a democratic society,
• but this law effectively makes it a terrorist offense.
• “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness,” states the Declaration of Independence.
• Under the sweeping terms of the law, members of tax protest organizations, the Tea Party movement and the States’ Rights movement based in South Carolina are all domestic terrorists if they fail to register their dissent with the authorities.

• It is important to stress that the notion this law somehow only applies to “Islamic terrorists” is completely at odds with the fact that federal and state authorities now consider the main terror threat to be from informed American citizens exercising their constitutional rights in opposition to the big government agenda they are being subjected to.
• As we saw with the MIAC report and a plethora of similar training manuals which were leaked over the last decade, police are being trained that libertarians, gun owners, Ron Paul supporters and anyone who is mildly political is a domestic extremist and a potential terrorist – these people are the real target of the subversives list in South Carolina.
• The infamous Phoenix Federal Bureau of Investigation manual (page one, page two) produced in association with the Joint Terrorism Task Force listed “defenders of the U.S. constitution” and “lone individuals” as terrorists.
• Will anyone in South Carolina who defends the Constitution, the very bedrock of what America stands for, have to register with the authorities unless they want to be locked up for a decade?
• Of course, since nobody is going to register as a “subversive” with South Carolina authorities, their failure to “comply” with the regulation will later be used against them as a means of eliciting criminal charges, in what represents a clear end run around the First Amendment.
• The government isn’t going to just come out all guns blazing and ban free speech, they are simply going to make anyone who refuses to register for permission a criminal for failing to adhere to a separate mandate.
• Just like people in places such as New York and Chicago were told that they had to get a license to purchase a gun – at first the process was a mere inconvenience but now the licensing process means they have to jump through 200 flaming hoops and the second amendment has effectively been outlawed in these cities.
• They won’t hesitate to pull the same tricks with the First Amendment, and it’s already happening with calls to license Internet users and force them to get government permission to run a website.

  The Fed declared record “profits” last year and passed around 90% over to the US treasury in tax. Cha-ching!

   

  The real point about central banks is that they create money out of thin air for the benefit of commercial banks and government.

   

  The Fed buys/sells commercial bonds from banks and treasury bonds from the government .

   

  They don’t just “manipulate” the market. They ARE the market.
