• NO   ADL, NO HATE CRIME LAWS

• The   Anti-Defamation League is not backing down from its outrageous claim that   millions of Americans are conspiring against Obama!
• ADL’s recent   report, Rage in America: Anti-Government Conspiracies, claims   millions of anti-Obama Americans, consumed with "toxic rage,"   will say almost anything necessary to bring the President down.
• But   spokeswoman Myrna Shinbaum says the backlash against ADL is simply a misunderstanding:
• “The comments are coming from people who have not read the report…They’re   reacting to the media spin and not its substance.”
• (Jewish Telegraph   Agency, -Conservatives   Rap ADL Report on Anti-Government Anger, Dec. 1)
• It’s certainly not the   mainstream liberal media that usually works in lockstep to give ADL initiatives   maximum publicity.
• What   “media” is misrepresenting ADL?
• With only a handful of exceptions, the media has said   nothing, pro or con, about Rage in America.
• Why? Big media is embarrassed   by ADL.
• If its claim that millions of Americans are conspirators were   not so sinister, it would be laughable.
• The   “media” to which Shinbaum refers is a string of recent articles:   Jonathan Tobin in Commentary, Joseph Farah in WorldNetDaily,   Rev. Ted Pike at www.truthtellers.org, Joel Sprayregen in American   Thinker, and Rabbi   Nachum Shifren in NewsWithViews.
• These commentaries—now viral   online—have probably embarrassed ADL more than anything since the   1988 Spotlight expose of ADL’s illegal surveillance of   over 10,000 unsuspecting Americans.

• But   ADL is unrepentant. It has an agenda and schedule to keep—persecuting   Christians and conservatives under its hate crime laws worldwide.
• In a   recent fund-raising appeal, ADL national director Abe Foxman complained   of a worldwide “explosion of anti-Semitism that is shocking in its   intensity and unprecedented in its reach into the mainstream.”
• ADL   wants to bull its way forward, persuading all nations of the world to   criminalize any criticism of matters Jewish.
• The cleverest legal means   is their brainchild: hate crimes laws.
• To eventually   imprison enormous numbers of those who oppose ADL’s new world order,   ADL must prepare the public to view Christian conservatives as anti-Semitic   and violence-prone.
• This has begun with ADL’s Office of Global Anti-Semitism   in the US State Department.
• In its latest report to Congress, the Office   says “classic anti-Semites” include at least 100 million Christians   who affirm the New Testament account that the Jews masterminded the crucifixion   of Christ.

• This is an   extremely threatening charge by the U.S. government against Bible-believing   Americans and Christians everywhere.
• In Canada, it is a hate crime to   publicly state that the Jews were responsible for Christ's death. It is   punishable by a minimum fine of $5,000 and prison if the offense is repeated.
• For   the past five years, ADL has united 56 nations of Europe into an “anti-hate”   confederation (the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe,   OSCE) dedicated to ending “homophobia,” xenophobia, anti-Semitism,   and ultimately free speech online.
• Yet in a recent report, ADL laments   that its European hate law agenda is not progressing as rapidly as planned.
• At last month's OSCE conference in Warsaw, ADL berated member states for   failing to vigorously enact and enforce more hate laws. It also criticized   them for neglecting to gather statistics ADL can dramatize as proving   that an "epidemic of hate" exists in Europe, necessitating even   more hate laws.
• ADL calls this year’s OSCE report a “revealing   portrait of the failure of too many governments to recognize the unique   problem of hate crime.”
• “The League’s analysis of the   data found that a total of 23 governments failed to gather hate crime   data or make it publicly available.
• ADL also highlighted nine countries   that reported fewer than 10—and in some cases zero—hate crimes.   Only eight of the 56 governments submitted information…on incidents   of anti-Semitism.”

• It may   well be that some political leaders in recalcitrant countries not under   the strictest ADL control are gradually awakening to the dangers of hate   laws through hearing the horror stories of hate law persecution in other   nations.
• They also may be receiving a comprehensive education on the twisted   reasoning, abuses, and ultimate conspiracy of ADL hate laws from the premier   international site opposing hate laws, www.truthtellers.org.
• ADL's   participation in every aspect of a hate crimes bureaucracy is vital to   creating ADL's ideal: a totally repressive Gestapo, mercilessly indicting   dissident speech in a manner that is fiercely punitive.
• This is what ADL's   northern branches, B'nai B'rith Canada and the Canadian Jewish Congress,   have brought to Canada since 1971, when ADL's hate law was passed -- after   a decade of ADL lobbying.
• Running Canada's hate bureaucracy has been entirely   their project -- one which they direct at every stage and of which they   are immensely and very publicly proud.
• How   to Kill America's Hate Law
• What   is the most effective way to keep America’s new ADL hate law from   being enforced?
• It’s simple. The more credibility ADL loses—as   happened in the last two weeks—the harder it will be for the League   to persuade the government to pursue hate crime indictments.
• If ADL’s   credibility is destroyed, hate laws will become unenforceable. In America,   virtually no one but ADL cares about sending Christians and conservatives   to prison as “anti-Semites” and “homophobic” hate   criminals.
• Without ADL management of hate crime bureaucracies and orchestration   of prosecution, even the militant homosexual lobby will have to be content   to coexist with the Christian community rather than prosecute it.
• The   most practical, attainable way to pull the teeth of the new federal hate   law is not through legal action, supplicating liberal judges to declare   it unconstitutional.
• They may actually be delighted to receive such appeals   and use them to uphold the Constitutionality of the hate law and even   broaden it to cover verbal violence against sodomites.
• The   most direct way to neutralize the hate bill is to destroy, by every truthful   means, the reputation of the Anti-Defamation League.
• Tens of thousands   of patriots should tell as many as possible about ADL’s 96-year   record of subverting America’s values and freedoms.

• Reports: Iraq De-Judaizing Ezekiel's Tomb

• Early reports that Iraq plans to retain the Jewish nature of the Tomb of the Prophet Ezekiel are apparently false. Sources in Baghdad say that the government plans to turn it into a mosque and erase all Jewish markings.
• Iraq announced earlier this year that it would revamp the ancient burial site, which is located in Al-Kifl, a small town south of Baghdad.
• The U.S.-backed government announcement implied that its Jewish nature would continue to be emphasized.
• Since then, however, reports have surfaced that the government is actually planning to build a mosque there, including removing the ancient Hebew inscriptions that adorn the site.
• Some reports say that all or some of the lines of Hebrew script have already been erased.
• Ezekiel (Yechezkel, in Hebrew), lived in the sixth century BCE, having accompanied the exiled Judeans to Babylon.
• His prophecies include the Vision of the Dry Bones, as well as the future return of Jewish People to the Land of Israel even if they are not deserving (Chapter 36: 22-25). 
• Thousands of Jews often visited the site of his tomb annually before Iraqi Jewry came to an abrupt end in the middle of the 20th century,
• and Moslems and Christians continue to visit it even today.
• Shelomo Alfassa, Director of Justice for Jews from Arab Countries, reports that Islamic political parties have pressured the government to remove the Jewish inscriptions.
• He quotes the Iraqi news agency Ur News as reporting that the writing and ornamentations “are being (or have been) removed… under the pretext of restoring the site.”
• Alfassa quotes sources to the effect that Iraq’s Antiquities and Heritage Authority “has been pressured by Islamists to historically cleanse all evidence of a Jewish connection to Iraq - a land where Jews had lived for over a thousand years before the advent of Islam.”
• Professor Investigates
• Four months ago, a German-based Iraqi journalist tipped off the Association of Jewish Academics from Iraq in Israel (AJAII) that plans were afoot to build a mosque on the site of Ezekiel’s Tomb. AJAII asked Dr. Jabbar Jamal al-Din, a lecturer in Jewish Thought at Kufa University in Iraq, to investigate these reports – and he said that he believes them to be untrue.
• Baghdad Sources: Room for Concern
• Prof. Shmuel Moreh - Israel Prize Laureate in Arabic Literature and Professor Emeritus at Hebrew University of Jerusalem -
• Sources in Baghdad, however, feel otherwise.
• told Israel National News that he had received worrisome phone calls from non-Jewish friends in Baghdad. Prof. Moreh, who serves as the Chairman of the Association of Jewish Academics from Iraq, said that the plans are to turn the holy site into a mosque, and “some told me that they are taking off the Hebrew inscriptions.”
• Alfassa provides the following translation of the relevant report in Ur News:
• “The officials of the Department of Antiquities and Heritage say that their restoration programme will continue until 2011 and is designed to carry out essential maintenance and prevent the dome and roof from collapsing.
• But their hidden purpose, sources say, is the removal of features that emphasize a historical connection with the Jews who built the shrine and lived in the city for hundreds of years after the Babylonian exile.”
• Though well over 100,000 Jews lived in Iraq a few decades ago, this number has now been decimated to no more than eight, Prof. Moreh said.
• “There are others,” he added, “but they barely know that they are Jews; in many cases, their parents did not tell them.”
• Alfassa concludes: “Iraq - the Biblical Mesopotamia -is almost as rich in Jewish history as the Land of Israel.
• The tomb of the prophet Ezekiel dates back to the Babylonian exile in the sixth century BCE. It was there in Iraq that Abraham discovered monotheism, and it is where the prophets Ezra, Nehemiah, Nahum, Jonah and Daniel are all buried.”

• Is "The Riddle of Anti Semitism" a "Hate Message"?

• The Canadian Jewish Congress & the Canadian Human Rights Commission want this Sept. 2004 article (and others like it) removed from my website on the grounds that it exposes Jews to "hatred and contempt." This ridiculous ploy is designed to enforce Zionist control over discourse, demonize their opponents and prevent Jews from asking questions. Their action confirms the very thing they deny.
• ORIGIN OF ANTI SEMITISM
• It should come as no surprise that the people who own and control the world have put their interests before the greater good of humanity. Obviously many of these are not Jewish.
• For at least 400 years, Christian civilization has been under covert attack by a diabolical multi-generational program now called the "New World Order", "globalization" or "world government."
• Essentially globalization represents the consolidation of absolute economic, political and cultural power in the hands of a cabal of super rich dynastic families (bankers and their vast corporate networks) headquartered in the City of London.
• The UN, IMF and World Bank are some of their instruments.
• These families include the Rothschilds, Warburgs and other so-called Jews who have intermarried with Anglo American and European aristocracy.
• Non-Jewish dynastic families include the Russell's, the Cecils and the Churchill's.
• This mirrors the collaboration between the moneylenders and kings in the Middle Ages when the Jew shared the proceeds from his lucrative business with the king in return for protection.
• The New World Order will resurrect the feudal relationship between a wealthy aristocracy and a large impoverished serfdom with a small intermediary class of soldiers/police and technocrats.
• These dynastic families have embraced Freemasonry, an occult secret society that worships Lucifer. The top rank of this cabal is called the "Illuminati."
• The Illuminati uses anti-Semitism to manipulate Jews and others.
• Jews figure prominently in Illuminati sponsored movements such as Communism, Zionism, Socialism, Nazism, Liberalism, Feminism, and Neo Conservatism.
• Most of these Jews are opportunists or idealistic dupes who think they are building a secular utopia based on reason and not a world police state straight out of George Orwell's "1984".
• For example they set up Communism to attract opponents of private property. They set up Nazism for people who champion nation and race, and hate "Jewish" hegemony.
• The Illuminati strategy is divide-and-rule, i.e. get their enemies to destroy each other.
• Then they attacked and destroyed each other.
• For example, this recently appeared in a book review on Amazon.
• As long as Jews play a disproportionate role in the New World Order, some opposition will be expressed in terms of Anti-Semitism.
• "It isn't Jews dying in Iraq. Our boys are dying for their war on their enemies. Americans are just hostages. Our government and media is hostage to Israel First Americans. "
• DEFENSE MECHANISM
• Anti-Semitism is not an irrational hatred or sickness in the Gentile soul, as Jews imagine.
• It is a healthy defense mechanism of mainly Christian and Moslem nations, cultures, races and religions that are threatened by a gradual and insidious process of extinction (i.e. world government.)
• Most "anti Semitic" books I've seen are remarkably free of hatred and rancor. They do not advocate violence against Jews but present measures to retain national and racial character similar to those practiced by Jews in Israel today.
• They tend to be reasonable and portray the Gentile as a feckless victim of superior Jewish intelligence. Leon de Poncins would even accept Jewish leadership if it were benign.
• Competition between "Christian" and "Jewish" worldviews is perhaps the central factor in the development of the western world.
• "The Jew championed reason against the mythical world of the spirit," de Poncins relates. "He was the doctor of unbelief; all who were mentally in revolt came to him..."(Judaism and the Vatican, p. 116)
• As early as 1879, a German writer lamented that it cannot be discussed honestly.
• "The Jewish Question" has been a major issue for hundreds of years.
• "While a sense of delicacy is wholly absent among the Jews [when satirizing Germans], it is demanded of us that we handle them like fine glassware or extremely sensitive plants."
• "Since 1848 if we Germans so much as criticized any little thing Jewish, it was enough to have us entirely outlawed from the press," wrote Wilhelm Marr.

• THEODOR FRITSCH (1852-1934)
• Called "the most influential German anti-Semite before Hitler," Fritsch's most influential book Handbuch der Judenfrage 1896 (Handbook of the Jewish Question) went through dozens of printings, and was taught in German schools during the Nazi era. Most copies were destroyed after World War Two.
• It is extremely rare; original copies cost as much as $1000.
• "Handbook" was translated into English in 1927 and titled "The Riddle of the Jew's Success" by F. Roderich-Stoltheim, a pen name.
• His central point is that Judaism does not deserve credit for monotheism because the Jewish God is not universal.
• Fritsch does not fit the image of hate monger foaming at the mouth. His book impresses me as the work a civilized man with considerable spiritual discernment.
• "It is a fatal mistake of our theologians to regard the Jewish God as identical with the Christian. On a closer examination, Jehovah is found to be the exclusive God of Jew-dom and not, at the same time, that of other men."
• He cites many passages from the Old Testament to demonstrate that the Covenant between Jews and their God "bears a hostile meaning for all non- Jewish people."
• For example, "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance and the uttermost parts of the world for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron..." (Psalms 2.8.9) Or "Thou wilt devour all nations which the Lord thy God will give thee. Thou shalt have no mercy on them...(Moses 5.7.16) (p.55)
• Fritsch cites many references to show it is permitted to lie, cheat or steal from a Gentile. (pp. 57-65)
• As a consequence, the Talmud (the Jewish code of law) distinguishes one system of morality for Jews and another for Gentiles who are regarded as cattle or swine.
• Since these beliefs are kept secret from non-Jews, he says Judaism is a conspiracy against non-Jews. Its aim is to fulfill the Covenant, and gain dominion over mankind by controlling wealth.
• Fritsch concludes that anti-Semitism is a natural reaction to these hostile attitudes which he claims are actually practised by many Jews.
• He claims that all Jews are part of this scheme and none can be excepted. I respect the right of Germans to a national homeland but I think he is wrong to judge all Jews by one racist standard.
• How would he like to be condemned for what other Germans (e.g. Nazis) did or said?
• Jews are individuals and should be judged by their individual actions. The vast majority are alienated from Judaism and would find the Biblical passages cited above repugnant.
• CONCLUSION
• Jews need to re-examine their relationship with Judaism.
• I cannot overstate the significance of the Jewish rejection of Christ.
• Christ represented a universal God and a universal morality. His teaching represented the natural next stage, which Jews should have embraced, while retaining their racial integrity.
• By rejecting Christ's teaching, the Pharisees placed the Jewish people in perpetual opposition to the best interests of humanity, to the ultimate and inevitable path of human spiritual evolution.
• They have placed Jews in a state of permanent metaphysical revolt which on a personal level leads to alienation and dysfunction.
• Christ taught that God is Love. Love is the Master Plan. Love is Light.
• Love thy neighbor. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. By giving of ourselves we find our true selves.

• What fault could Pharisees have with a gospel that preaches human brotherhood and putting others before yourself? Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?

    

  It denies their special claim, as God's "chosen people" which in practice means self-made Gods.
• Think of a child that doesn't want to grow up. One who thinks he can do anything he wants. Who doesn't have to consider others. Who is never wrong and so never admits it.
• Growing up means recognizing that other people are special in God's eyes too.
• Who thinks any opposition must be motivated by irrational hatred i.e. "anti-Semitism" and not his own behavior.
• Think arrested development. Think Canadian Jewish Congress. Think New World Order.

• I couldn’t help but see the line in your last editorial where you wrote “What fault could Pharisees have with a gospel that preaches human brotherhood and putting others before yourself? Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?”
• I suspect that you already know the answer, but nonetheless it is worth stating.
• Judaistic Pharisaism has nothing to do with the worship of the true God of Abraham, but is all about money, manipulation, and control for an “inside crowd” who saw themselves as “illuminated” and above the common herd by virtue of their breeding and education.
• These were the same people who were cornering the market for the pure silver half shekel that was used exclusively for temple taxes in biblical times, gouging those who had tithes & offerings to enrich themselves.
• There was once a man who attempted to drive them out of the temple and he was subsequently crucified.
• Nothing has changed today. These Pharisaic peers of Jesus Christ are the same spiritual ancestors of the current cartel of central bank owners who subscribe to the same selfish creed which at its core is the Talmudic Kabbalah.
• As you know, the Kabbalah is what some have called the “blood and bone” of Talmudic Judaism, which is Babylonian Pharisaism, and its Gentile cousin, Freemasonry.
• “The beginnings of Talmudic literature date back to the time of the Babylonian exile in the Sixth pre-Christian Century.”
• To clarify these links, we recall that a chief Rabbi of Great Britain, J. H. Hertz, wrote in the Forward to the first English translation of the Babylonian Talmud:
• Rabbi Louis Finklestein, former head of Jewish Theological Seminary of America, wrote of the “The Pharisees”:
• “Pharisaism became Talmudism…But the spirit of the ancient Pharisee survives unaltered.”
• We also note that the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia of 1943 states:
• “The Jewish religion as it is today traces its decent, without a break, through all the centuries, from the Pharisees...The Talmud…is essential for any real understanding of Pharisaism.”
• Just as a side note, Jesus Christ himself called Pharisaism the “Synagogue of Satan” (Rev 2:9, 3:9). I believe that probably makes him the first "Anti Semite" along with the likes of Armadinejad if you consider the modern definition of the term.
• If you consider this claim curious then read on. He might not have been getting all worked up when he said it...
• In linking Pharisaism with Freemasonry, Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise, a major figure and pioneer of Reform Judaism in America, stated in 1855: “Freemasonry is a Jewish establishment, whose history, grades, official appointments, passwords, and explanations are Jewish from beginning to end.”
• The Jewish Tribune stated in 1927, “Freemasonry is based on Judaism. Eliminate the teachings of Judaism from the Masonic ritual and what is left?”
• “The Kabbalah is the key of all Masonry and the occult sciences…”
• “It is, in fact, the Cabalistic elements in Freemasonry that act as the main driving force in the envenomed and aggressive opposition of the later to Christianity, and its never-flagging efforts for the undermining and destruction of the Christian organization of society.”
• Also, Albert Pike, a Freemasonic Luminary of the 19th Century stated in his Morals and Dogma,
• Elizabeth Dilling wrote in The Jewish Religion:
• “The Kabbalah teaches magic or the art of intercourse with spirits and supernatural beings”
• Further, Edith Starr Miller wrote in Occult Theocrasy,
• Its Influence Today, “Kabbalah, means ‘tradition,’ and it is the tradition of the paganisms of Babylon, Egypt, and the pagan philosophers, enshrined in the Jewish religion.” “The Jewish Cabala is a library of literature, all on magic and spiritism, and based on sheer pantheism.”
• “The Hasidist branch of Judaism specializes in the Cabala.”
• As you know, these all are at their highest levels nothing short of Luciferianism.
• So here we find the linkage between Judaistic Pharisaism, the occult, witchcraft, & freemasonry whose common mortar are the paganistic traditions of the Kabbalah.
• As you have quoted on your site, Harold Wallace Rosenthal in a 1976 interview stated that "Most Jews do not like to admit it, but our god is Lucifer...and we are his chosen people. Lucifer is very much alive."
• It goes without saying that it would be possible to link most of the significant people that run this world, its media, and its finances to either Freemasonry or societies with like beliefs and practices.
• Despite their heinous beliefs and practices I should note that from amongst their ranks in biblical times came one of the most well known Christian converts, the Apostle Paul, so there is hope for perhaps some of them.
• I see nothing has changed whatsoever in regard to the age old conflict between the luciferic interests amongst Kabbalistic Jews, their occult gentile friends, and the true Israel (that which is in Christ Jesus). I see this conflict reaching a climax in world affairs within my lifetime.
• I cannot help but see however the parallels of today’s situation to that of biblical times.

• Of course, that generalization does not fit all Jews. Even the Askenazi faction have embraced the worst elements of the Talmud.
• The same power that Jesus invoked to throw back the cosmic powers are promised to his followers if it is in the context of the Father's will and modus operadi. How many are willing to do this? • NAZARETH, Israel // Health officials in Israel are subjecting many female Ethiopian immigrants to a controversial long-term birth control drug in what Israeli women’s groups allege is a racist policy to reduce the number of black babies.
• The contraceptive, known as Depo Provera, which is given by injection every three months, is considered by many doctors as a birth control method of last resort because of problems treating its side effects.
• However, according to a report published last week, use of the contraceptive by Israeli doctors has risen threefold over the past few years.
• Figures show that 57 per cent of Depo Provera users in Israel are Ethiopian, even though the community accounts for less than two per cent of the total population.
• About 90,000 Ethiopians have been brought to Israel under the Law of Return since the 1980s, but their Jewishness has subsequently been questioned by some rabbis and is doubted by many ordinary Israelis.
• Ethiopians are reported to face widespread discrimination in jobs, housing and education and it recently emerged that their blood donations were routinely discarded.
• “This is about reducing the number of births in a community that is black and mostly poor,” said Hedva Eyal, the author of the report by Woman to Woman, a feminist organisation based in Haifa, in northern Israel.
• “The unspoken policy is that only children who are white and Ashkenazi are wanted in Israel,” she said, referring to the term for European Jews who founded Israel and continue to dominate its institutions.
• Women’s groups were alerted to the widespread use of Depo Provera in the Ethiopian community in 2008 when Rachel Mangoli, who runs a day care centre for 120 Ethiopian children in Bnei Braq, a suburb of Tel Aviv
• observed that she had received only one new child in the previous three years.
• “I started to think about how strange the situation was after I had to send back donated baby clothes because there was no one in the community to give them to,” she said.
• She approached a local health clinic serving the 55 Ethiopian families in Bnei Braq and was told by the clinic manager that they had been instructed to administer Depo Provera injections to the women of child-bearing age, though he refused to say who had issued the order.
• Ms Mangoli, who interviewed the women, said: “They had not been told about alternative forms of contraception or about the side effects or given medical follow-ups.”
• Doctors are concerned that it is difficult or impossible to help women who experience severe side effects because the drug is in their system for months after it is injected.
• Traditionally, its main uses have been for women who are regarded as incapable of controlling their own reproduction or monitor other forms of birth control, and for women who suffer severe problems during menstruation.
• Ms Eyal said she had been denied co-operation from government ministries, doctors and most of the health insurance companies while conducting her research.
• Clalit, the largest health company, however, did provide figures showing that 57 per cent of its Depo Provera users were Ethiopian compared with a handful of women in other ethnic groups.
• When first questioned about Depo Provera in June 2008, the health minister of the time, Yaacov Ben Yezri, said the high number of Ethiopians in Israel using the drug reflected a “cultural preference” for injections among Ethiopians.
• In fact, according to figures of the World Health Organisation, three-quarters of women in Ethiopia using birth control take the oral pill.
• “The answers we received from officials demonstrated overt racism,” Ms Eyal said.
• “They suggested that Ethiopian women should be treated not as individuals but as a collective group whose reproduction needs controlling.”
• When Woman to Woman conducted an experiment by sending five non-Ethiopian women to doctors to ask for Depo Provera, all were told that it was prescribed only in highly unusual cases.
• Ms Mangoli said it was extremely difficult to get immigrant Ethiopian families to speak out because they were afraid that their Jewishness was under suspicion and that they might be deported if they caused trouble.
• However, women interviewed anonymously for the report stated that officials at absorption centres in Ethiopia advised them to take Depo Provera because there would be no funds to support their children if they got pregnant in Israel.
• This policy appears to conflict with the stated goals of the country’s Demography Council, a group of experts charged with devising ways to persuade Jewish women to have more babies.
• The council was established in response to what is widely seen in Israel as a “demographic war” with Palestinians, or the need to maintain a Jewish majority in the region despite high Palestinian birth rates.
• In a speech marking the council’s reconvening in 2002, the then social welfare minister, Shlomo Benizri, referred to “the beauty of the Jewish family that is blessed with many children”.
• Yali Hashash, a researcher at Haifa University, said attempts to restrict Ethiopian women’s fertility echoed practices used against Jewish women who immigrated to Israel from such Arab countries as Iraq, Yemen and Morocco in the state’s early years, in the 1950s and 1960s.
• Many, she said, had been encouraged to fit IUDs when the device was still experimental because Israel’s leading gynecologists regarded Arab Jews as “primitive” and incapable of acting “responsibly”.
• Allegations of official racism towards Ethiopians gained prominence in 2006 when it was admitted that for many years all their blood donations had been discarded for fear that they might be contaminated with diseases.
• There have also been regular reports of Ethiopian children being denied places in schools or being forced to attend separate classes.
• In November a survey of employers in the main professions showed that 53 per cent preferred not to hire an Ethiopian.
