The B.C. Archives is a vital resource for both scholarship and research of a personal nature involving British Columbia history. For most of the actual material you have to go to the Archives in Victoria in person, but you can do some preliminary searching online. There is access to the Archives Library catalogue as well as information about exhibitions and events. This site is widely used by people doing family history (or genealogical) research because it provides an index to birth registrations (1872–1903), marriage registrations (1872–1932) and death registration records (1872–1987) through the Vital Event Indexes.

Canadiana.org is a national group consisting of academic and public libraries and government departments such as Statistics Canada, who work together to create, present and manage Canadian online content. Canadiana.org acts as an overall coordinator for digitization projects and access to collections. One of the services provided by Canadiana is access to Early Canadiana Online, a searchable online catalogue of pre-1900 microfilmed documents and a digital library of over 2.3 million pages of documents and publications. Not all items in the catalogue have been digitized and some ECO content is only available to registered ECO members. But with new material digitized all the time this is a fast-growing reference collection for historians. And in March 2007 Canadiana.org formed a partnership with Ancestry.ca to bring online nearly 300 years of early Canadian historical documents dating back to the 1600s.

There is a wealth of information available online here about the Holocaust but if that is not sufficient you can also search their library catalogue for items in their collection. Of course these will not be in full-text but the citations are a good starting point for further research. Visitors to the Holocaust Museum itself say that it is a profoundly moving experience.
