Sara CENTRIM's List: Different presentations of News

- List style format, interestingly the stories don't lead anywhere else, but are heavily linked.
- They include general Uni of St Andrews news
- News boxes are clean, but unauthored and undated

- News wise, this is a really nice example of how dress up a small amount of text. prominent navigation portlet to left, image and text under huge headline. No extra lines around the boxes.
- Actual news page is quite disappointing though.
- Generally though, I really like the Uni of Westminster's combination of dark header banner with shamelessly bright colours in the content. This theme is embraced in Business School pages too.

- Text is always detailed, like a press release (they probably have a PR/comms person to do this though).
- Intro box at top is interesting though..
- Related links also nice touch..

- WBS have a nice way of combining news, events, publications..
- v simple but nice template

Although I'm not keen on the general feel of the UoW site at all, this is an interesting example of mixed media on one page. Also they draw a distinction between Press Release and news item
