- The levers are excellent. Nice shape, and the reach adjustment works great.
- If you want a brake that you can control the wheel rotation the Strokers are you. I personally like to feel what the brakes are doing, being able to pull the lever in little at a time & each little bit is that much brake effect.
- Was riding with a female DH'er & she was having problems on a run, I traded bikes with her & she cleared the section on the next 2 runs with the Strokers totally boosting her confidence to the Moon it was awesome to watch.

- So compared with the old Nine, the Stroker is 1. easier to reach, 2. has a simpler arc that feels more natural and 3. has a cool little pocket for your straining index finger. Under very hard braking, the Stoker lever feels very positive, very connected.
- The brakes work very well for aggressive trail riding and light DH. They have nice feel and plenty of power. I like to think I ride my Enduro pretty aggressively, and the Stokers are totally up to the task.
- I really like the way the lever feels. It’s thin and minimal, and my index finger fits right at the end. The finger-spot is knurled for extra grip.

- The lever shape and action is our current favorite
- The reach adjustment is the easiest to use that we’ve ever seen. The blue knob is so easy to access that even mid-ride adjustments are practical.
- And most important, power and modulation are very good. The power is excellent and their 6″ rotor performance is better than 7″ rotors from other brands.
- It’s easy to control the power too as the brakes modulate well with little vibration and noise.

- One of the niftiest features of the Stroker is its low profile reservoir, which allows adequate room for almost any trigger shifter. Also, the perpendicular-to-the-handlebar piston rod glides smoothly in and out of the master cylinder to not only create mechanical advantage but to make for a smooth engagement and retraction as well.
- Hayes also beefed up their pads for some more added confidence this year so the gravity set can really rock whatever gnarly descent is on tap for the day.

- Stroker brakes
  rounded out the parts package and handled the stopping duties with aplomb. Lots
  of feel at the lever, easy adjustment and plenty of power for the sketchy ridge
  line descents here in the canyon. Mating those binders to a floating rear brake
  arm is winning combination.

- I found little difference between the five platform adjusting clicks though, but either fully open or completely locked out worked great for me. I attached a zip-tie to measure the amount of travel used and all 120mm were used landing big drops or running trail stuff over.
- In active mode the fork compressed and rebounded smoothly, had a positive feel and didn't nosedive uncontrollably when a handful of front brake was grabbed.
- There was also nothing sticky in the motion once the fork was cycled and broken in, nor any flex in the stanchions or lowers.
- When it came time to lock the fork out, stand and hammer the Minute 29er gave no movement—a true lockout, nothing fancy so you have to flip the knob to reinstate the travel or risk being shook. The fork seals held up fine, no leakage or seepage, and there were no unusual noises coming from the internals to catch my ears. It was just pedal and hang on, problem free.
- Aesthetically the Minute 29er looked awesome and the Rasta stripes served as a reminder to feel the groove of the trail, go with the flow, and just dig being outside man!
