Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences. Each of SSRN's networks encourages the early distribution of research results by publishing submitted abstracts and by soliciting abstracts of top quality research papers around the world. We now have hundreds of journals, publishers, and institutions in Partners in Publishing and in academic and other Cooperating Institutions that provide working papers for distribution through SSRN's Electronic Library and abstracts for publication in SSRN's electronic journals. The SSRN Electronic Library consists of two parts: an Abstract Database containing abstracts on over 28,400 scholarly working papers and forthcoming papers and an Electronic Paper Collection currently containing over 13,400 downloadable electronic documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format.

OpenSIGLE - (System for Information on Grey Literature in Europe) is a searchable database of references to grey literature. (conference papers, eprints, pre-prints, technical reports, PhD dissertations and\ntheses) which is compiled by EAGLE : European Association for Grey Literature Exploitation (an association of major European document supply centres and libraries). Materials cover all areas of the sciences, social sciences and humanities. All records are offered in English and include bibliographic references, subject classifications and often abstracts of content. The database may be searched or browsed.\nThere is a facility to request document delivery/ availability from libraries on the system which include the British Library document supply centre.
