Non-work-related hearing impairment
If the worker has a non-work-related hearing loss which is the only remaining barrier to finding and keeping suitable employment and the worker is otherwise entitled to labour market re-entry services, payment for the provision of special rehabilitation devices may be authorized on a once only basis.
The worker is responsible for the cost of continuing maintenance and repair.
