Google Reader allows you to aggregate blogs and keep on top of your field.

It's like Microsoft Office (less databases.. see zoho.com) for the web.  Google docs also allows you to share information with people. I like using the FORMS feature to get students to share responses with me.

Allows you to create mind maps and share with a group.  Great for brainstorming.

Create an account and it becomes an online storage tool.  Email any file to posterous and it send you back a weblink of your document.  Great for sharing documents .. especially in realtime.  It even acts as a blog... archiving past posts.

Tired of text messages in class?  Use it to your advantage!  Have students text responses to polls or even send text messages to a message board.  Just like on TV:)

Convert file types online.

URL shorteners are cool, but I like it when I can keep track of the number of hits.  So in a class of 25, I'd like to se 20 clicks on a URL.  It's like a passive assessment.

Record your computer and share with others!  Almost too good to be free.  I use this at least once a week.

If you don't own at least one Apple computer, you haven't reached your creative potential.

OK, I shoulda just gone with wordle.net, but Tagul is one level up.  Create word clouds and then link to the INternet.

I'm really excited about mobile learning.  This tool allows you to post documents and make them accessible on Android (and soon iPhones) devices.

The wisdom of the crowd...before I start a presentation, I check slideshare to see what the itelligentsia has done prior.  If you borrow, you have to share.  It's also nice when you get a lot of hits on a document too:)  

Online collaboration via the web.  You can share documents and use your pen tablet to mark up the screen.  Great for demonstrating math problems (with a tablet).. also has mathematic notations.  Great in combo with Jing.

I use Wordpress and Blogger.  I'm partial to Blogger mostly because I use a thrid party tool to blog and Wordpress messes up the spacing on my posts.

Provides related topics on a given subject.  Put in a term and EVRI provides search results from multiple sources.  Great to post with assignments or in discussion boards.  I use EVRI with blog posts.
