Here is one of the last open cross country invitationals. Looks like a lot of fun.
Okay, for those of you not familiar with orientering I'll offer a brief explanation. It's like lining up for a cross country race, except you haven't done a walk through and they give you a map to figure out the course yourself. You have to find markers along the way to prove you ran. It is absolutely a blast and something that is fun to do as a group.
This is a different sort of race. You run a cross country course, but have some unique obstacles along the way. Enjoy.
For those of you wanting to test yourself against runners from other leagues, the local and regional cross country championships are coming up in a few weeks.

Here are some Seattle area races to keep you busy and in shape during the off-season. I look forward to seeing all of our cross country runners out for track in April.
