Panorama Mesdag, located in the Hague, Holland, is a cylindrical painting, more than 14 meters high and 120 meters in circumference. Visitors stand inside of the painting and see the vista of the sea, the dunes and Scheveningen village as painted in 1881 by one of the most famous painters of the Hague School, Hendrik Willem Mesdag.

Panorama of the City of New York at the Queens Museum of Art (NYC)
Built by Robert Moses for the 1964 World’s Fair, in part as a celebration of the City’s municipal infrastructure, this 9,335 square foot architectural model includes every single building constructed before 1992 in all five boroughs; that is a total of 895,000 individual structures.

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place! Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert Region so realistically you find yourself eye-to-eye with mountain lions, prairie dogs, Gila monsters, and more. Within the Museum grounds, you will see more than 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants. There are almost 2 miles of paths traversing 21 acres of desert.
