The entry point to search for Federal government grants. Select: New Opportunities This Week, if you will be searching daily. The best option.
This is the old version of the Table of Contents for the Federal Register. While they keep this site up, it is the more user-friendly option. When January 1 rolls around, change the date in the URL, ex.: frcont11.html to frcont12.html and you're good to go!
While these grants will post in Grants.gov, you can get info here quicker.
This is a daily update of information technology threats. If you're responsible for the IT, this would be a good site to monitor. DHS stands for Dept. of Homeland Security.
This is the new and "improved" (not really) version of the Federal Register by dates. The organization of information lacks the hierarchy that the old version has so it is flatter and harder to use - and read. You can continue to open up the + signs or, once you reveal the date you want, look to the options on the right and select "Table of Contents."

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance. Theoretically, all grant programs are supposed to be listed in this catalog. It gives "full" descriptions of each grant, including program summary, eligibility, and other important informaiton. Deadlines and award sizes will be in the most current notice of funding availability (NoFA) or request for applications (RFA) or request for proposals (RFP). Each program has a CFDA (or C.F.D.A.) number that is needed on the grant application.
