    • Listen & Watch
      • As a classroom teacher, things can get monotonous if you have limited resources. I always get tired of the same old cd's and so do the kids. This is a lot of fun to check out because the kids can watch other kids doing the same things they are doing. It's a great page to put on a computer during center activities and let the kids choose the song.

    • 5 Little Fish
      • I wish that the videos were full screen, and that the clips were longer. But then who would buy the cd....

    • Leveled  Books Database
      • This is probably the most useful tool for a classroom teacher (elementary). Most people are familiar with the different levelling standards but not all have access to a reading resource room where the books are already sorted by level.

    • Search  by Subject Keyword
      • I love that you can search by subject too! Often I have a theme in the classroom and it's great to be able to tie in all aspects of the curriculum.

                Reading Workshop

      • Clicking on this link brings you to a summary of what guided reading is... scroll to the bottom and there is a link to a page of useful forms for guided reading. Great!

    • THIS SITE IS STILL UNDER   CONSTRUCTION....PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON!

      • The web resources on this page are great for a classroom teacher. My favorite part of the site are the games for kids on the student materials link though. They are very simple to play and do not need teacher assistance. One thing I would change though... the links for the games are hard to locate on the page, which makes it tough for younger kids to get started on their own. I would make them larger with pictures rather than an html link.,

      • This is my all time favorite website for a K-2 classroom. I used it at centers EVERY DAY in kindergarten. The kids never got tired of the stories and games, and it really helps them apply skills and use what they already know. Some kids are very tech oriented and this gets through to them in ways that teachers sometimes can't. No complaints... except that I usually had trouble getting the kids to get off the computer!

      • This website falls under dislike....but only because I have to. Overall it is not a bad site. Lots of the games are fun and educational. The reason I dislike it is because it also has a general arcade game and entertainment section and there is no way to keep the kids on the right page!

      • I actually LOVE this website, but it is on the dislike list because it is very EXPENSIVE! If your school does not have a subscription then tough luck because it costs too much for one teacher to get it for the classroom.

      • I like the material in this website, and I think that it is very useful, however, I dislike the design of the website. There is a lot of background color used, but very small fonts and simple formats. Not very engaging for students if they are younger. Good for older elementary grades probably...

      • I really don't like this website because the creator appears to have spent NO time whatsoever on making this page appealing for kids. The content is for kids to use but the page looks like a grocery list! Minimal effort...for example- on the animals page, there are no photos of actual animals. Just computer clipart!
