I would use this website in my future classroom because it provides interactive mathematics games for middle school students. This would allow students to have fun while performing mathematics. I would have them complete various games during math centers time. This would reinforce the topics in a fun way for students.
This blog is very beneficial in order for teachers to determine how to step up a blog in their classroom. This blog discusses how teachers can start a classroom blog in their classroom in order to integrate technology in the classroom. I would use this blog as guidance when developing my classroom curriculum. I think that a classroom blog would be helpful for students to interact with a computer as well as provide feedback to their peers.
This website contains numerous literacy podcasts that could work well in a classroom environment. There are a wide range of genres, such as classic fiction, poetry, and contemporary fiction. The podcasts retells stories such as Romeo and Juliet or Harry Potter. I would use these podcasts by asking students to listen to the podcast with a partner and then retell the story to each other. This activity would help students build their comprehension which is important to develop in the elementary grades.
This website is completely interactive and technology integrated! The website allows you to download "flash cards" to an ipod such as the multiplication tables and the states and capitals. I would use this in my classroom if ipods were avaliable. I would ask the students to complete one of the activities during centers time. Students could do this activity individually and continue at their own pace.
This website allows people to make interactive maps. I would use this in my classroom to make maps of specific regions being studied. I could also allow students to create their own maps and share them with their peers.
