If you want to store files (including music, video, pictures, and text) this site offers storage but also provides a way to place the file on a classroom website or blog so that readers can access it without fully downloading it.
This tool could be used to link to a course calendar from a FirstClass website or other class site (blog, wiki, etc.)
Listen to any podcast on your phone. Thus we don't need iPods for classrooms in order to use podcasts with students--they already have a device in hand that allows access. If a podcast is not already on this service, the teacher can add it. The drawback: only the most recent podcast in a series will be available.
