Julie Putnam's List: KCSD Resources

This is the website eChalk trainers use to post all their training resources. A great place to start is the "Integrating eChalk into Classroom Instruction" or "Quicklinks" link on the left menu bar.

StreamlineSC is SCETV's version of Discovery Education, and the MediaShare feature allows teachers to upload video that they can link and share with students. Teachers can also attach lesson plans and other resource files to develop complete lesson plans they can share with other teachers. "Widgets" are little bits of HTML code that insert content from other websites into a webpage.  eChalk has compiled a directory of widgets by content area for teachers to use.  Make sure to check out the instructions for adding web widgets at the top of the page.

Diigo is an online bookmarking resource, which allows you to easily create, organize and share websites.  The site also allows you to create group, and allow assigned group members to add and share their own links.  Teachers can share resources, or create a group for students for sharing research links for projects.

Google Docs (Documents) is an online resource for creating, uploading, and sharing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more.  Teachers can create and share files, and students can collaborate on papers and research projects.
